Bus picked me up at Sis'. We stopped home then I rode along to B's bouse. Lawr picked me up at night. Got an invitation to Elaine's shower next Sunday, October 7.
Birdie went to hospital at 2. I was in town at Sis'. Marg called and said Birdie had a 8 lb. 2 oz. baby boy. I stayed all night at Sis'. Lawr hunting at Millers.
Got up at 9. At 10:30, we started for Sam's house in Canal Fulton. We had a grand lamb dinner. Very delicious. I gave the bow knots to Sam. Got home about 6:45. Watching T.V. Dorothy here.
Went to 12 o'clock Mass today. Sky sort of yellow when we came out. At 4 o'clock it was like night. Announced over T.V. that forest fires in Canada caused the yellow cast.
First day of autumn. Got up about 10. Went out into garage and straightened things up. Went in to town to pick up Lor and Joe. Went to bingo in Burton. Came home about 2:40 am.
Got up about 8:30. Still damp and rainy out. Waiting for Lawr to get up and go to town. Went to the doctors, shot and pills. Paid Dr. Kaz $10. Came home about 9:30. Watched T.V. until 12:30.
Got up about 9. A nasty, rainy day. Lawr got up at 12, had breakfast and went out to paint the floor in the garage. I baked a peach and apple pie. In eve, we went to Cels to pick up my tablecloth. Stopped at B.P.
Annabelle lived from 1892-1966. She is my maternal, great grandmother. She was married to George and, later, Lawrence. Her children included my grandmother, Dolores, also known as Sis (who was married to John) and Clarence, also known as Buster (who was married to Marge). Dolores and John had three daughters: my mother Beverly (also known as Butchie), Shirley (Shirl) and Audrey (Auds).
